This intense, realistic "love story" is about Dean (Ryan Gosling) who is a painter, and Cindy (Michelle Williams) who is a nurse, and their intense struggle to keep the flame going in their marriage. Everyone has or has had that one game that they just can't put down. Mine just so happens to be Minecraft.

Minecraft, as many of you probably know, is a huge sandbox game where you set your own goals. My husband had been saying how much he wanted to play it ever since he had seen it on FourPlayerPodcast, but I didn't know much about what it was. So I decided to check out Minecraft's website, just to get an idea of what the buzz was about. I played the flash version of it, and I fell head-over-heels in love with it.Read more »

Art Theft: Who's Next?

So unless you have been living in a cave (or don't use DeviantART), you are sure to have noticed the slew of art theft lately on DA. So many stolen pieces have had their moment of glory on the front page, but it makes me wonder how many other art thieves are actually getting away with it.

What about the ones we never see?

I did an experiment last week. I took a few of my own pictures, opened a new DA account under a different name and email and everything, and posted some of my own photos on it. No one could have known it was me. They sat for five days. I got about sixty page views, but no comments.Read more »

Xbox Live is a great service. You can play with (or against) your friends without having to share a console, you can chat with someone halfway across the world...and for only $59.99 a year! Wait...what?

The price for XBL Gold has shot up recently. While to some, $60 isn't too bad. But others (like myself) are left asking, "Why so much?" What is our money REALLY going towards when paying for Xbox Live Gold membership? We don't get any exclusive discounts or free items like the paid PSN subscription offers, no early demos...so where's the catch?Read more »

Halo: Reach Xbox Review

Vince and I have had the Halo: Reach Xbox for a good few weeks now, so I think it's safe to review it for all of you who are wondering how it is. So here goes! (:

Appearance: First thing first; the Halo: Reach Xbox (as with all of the new models) is a lot smaller and slimmer compared to the Elite (which we switched from). It has an hourglass kind of shape to it. There are vents on each side, as did the Elite, but unlike the Elite, it also has vents on the top of the console. As we've used this Xbox more and more, we've observed that most of the heat is coming from the top. This actually improves performance, obviously, which I'll touch on a little bit later.
